INTENDED USE

The NovaCross™ CTO Microcatheter is intended to facilitate the intraluminal placement of conventional and steerable guidewires beyond the stenotic lesions, including chronic total occlusions (CTOs), and prior to PTCA or stent intervention. It is also intended to be used in conjunction with a steerable guidewire to access discrete regions of the coronary and peripheral vasculature and for guidewire exchange.

Inner catheter:

  • Double-helical design for superior guidewire deliverability, support and crossing

  • The catheter can be extended up to 30 mm but only when the scaffold is crimped.

  • Simple transition to next stage of procedure (balloon/stent)

Tip:
 

  • Low profile radiopaque tip

  • 0.92mm crossing profile 

Nitinol scaffold:

  • Provides the guidewire with additional support and penetration ability

  • Centers the guidewire and inner microcatheter

  • Repeatedly deployed and crimped for catheter repositioning

  • Deployed close to the lesion

  • Equipped with radiopaque markers for precise positioning
